About Michael

Michael Kealy is a partner at MMW with a practice covering professional liability, commercial litigation, employment, product liability, personal injury and complex torts. He serves as LawPRO preferred counsel and is frequently retained to help other lawyers with their files, having argued cases at all levels of court in Ontario as well as the Federal Court of Canada. Originally from Sudbury, Michael completed his law degree at Queen's University in 2001, having earned his undergraduate degrees there earlier, and while a student he was elected University Rector and served on the Board of Trustees. He remains active with the Ontario Bar Association, having served on its Council and Board of Directors and now chairing its Policy and Public Affairs committee. Michael spends his summers in Northern Ontario with family in Sudbury and at the family cottage on Manitoulin Island.
