Partner at Quinn Thiele Mineault Grodzki LLP
Michael Thiele has a diverse business background in agriculture and hospitality in Eastern Ontario, and studied in Maine and Glasgow before completing his law degree at Queen's University. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997 and formed a law partnership with two colleagues in 2001, which grew into what became Quinn Thiele Mineault Grodzki LLP, restricting its focus largely to personal injury work by mid-2010. Michael retains a particular passion for residential landlord and tenant law, maintains a widely read blog on the subject, and continues to teach it to paralegal students at Algonquin College. His practice consists of landlord and tenant law and general litigation, including personal injury, property loss, insurance claims and disability matters, and he most enjoys representing individuals before administrative tribunals, boards and committees. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Advocates Society.
