About Michael

Michael Hernandez is an employment lawyer and partner at Bow River Law who practices in employment law, labour law, human rights, and civil litigation, representing clients from entry-level employees to senior executives. He has appeared before the Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, and the Alberta Labour Relations Board. He articled at a mid-sized civil litigation firm in Calgary before joining Bow River Law in late 2022, and during law school he competed twice in the BC Court of Appeal Law Schools Moot as a finalist. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2021.
