Michael De Lellis focuses on corporate and commercial law, concentrating on insolvency and restructuring matters. De Lellis advises on court-supervised reorganizations under Canadian insolvency statutes, complex recapitalizations, and proposals and bankruptcies for corporate debtors. The work also spans cross-border restructurings, acquisitions, financings, and governance issues, along with enforcing the rights of debtors and creditors. De Lellis has represented lending syndicates, bondholders, equity sponsors, purchasers, governments, court-appointed officers, and debtor corporations in numerous proceedings. Engagements include work for Just Energy Group, Pier 1 Imports, Sears Canada, and the CCAA proceedings involving Toys R Us.
