About Michael
Michael Adams is a partner and IP lawyer who is also a registered patent and trademark agent. His practice covers intellectual property litigation as well as drafting and prosecuting patent, trademark, copyright, and industrial design applications for clients ranging from multinationals to individual inventors. He has appeared before the Trademark Opposition Board, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. Michael has been with his firm since articling there, and before that earned his Juris Doctor from Queen's University along with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematical Science from McMaster University. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 2005 and became a registered patent and trademark agent in 2007.
