About Mélissa

Mélissa Des Groseilliers joined Kugler Kandestin in 2020 and practises civil and commercial litigation, including class actions, personal injury, shareholder disputes and medical malpractice matters. She has handled cases before several levels of court in Québec, including matters involving significant injuries, sexual abuse and death, and often works on a contingency-fee basis for clients who cannot afford to fund litigation. Before studying law, Des Groseilliers earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and worked as a journalist and researcher for various media outlets. She previously worked at a boutique civil and commercial litigation firm and at a national law firm.
