About Melanie

Melanie Sokalsky is a partner with the firm. Prior to joining Corporate Counsel she was Senior Legal Counsel at the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, reviewing prospectuses, continuous disclosure documents, and exemptive relief applications, and previously worked at the Canadian Securities Transition Office and as an associate in the securities group at a national law firm. She holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a B.A. (Adv.) from the University of Manitoba, and is admitted to practice law in Ontario.
