About Meghan

Meghan O'Neil joined Mills & Mills LLP in 2016 and has focused her practice on wills, estates, and trusts since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2015, with particular attention to estate planning and administration. She holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, earned with honours in 2014, along with an honours B.A. from the University of Windsor and a broadcast journalism certificate from Fanshawe College. She articled at an Oakville firm concentrating on estate litigation, planning, and administration. Meghan holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation from STEP and belongs to the Estate Planning Council of Toronto. She regularly speaks on estate planning topics to financial institutions, community groups, and continuing education programs run by the Ontario Bar Association and other organizations. Her work includes planning for family members with disabilities and coordinating with foreign counsel on assets located outside Canada.
