Construction LawMegan Marrie is a partner and civil litigator with nearly two decades of experience advising on complex commercial and construction matters, and she also offers mediation services to help parties resolve conflicts efficiently outside of court. Raised in Halifax, she completed a co-op Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction at Dalhousie University, then spent time in a marketing role at an Alberta-based geographic information systems firm before returning to school to study law. Megan holds both an LLB and an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and was called to the Ontario bar in 2007. Her construction law work involves representing project owners, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals when liens, contract claims or negligence allegations arise, and her professional liability practice includes defending architects, engineers and accountants.
