Matthew Zischka is a principal at Smart & Biggar's Toronto office, a lawyer and registered patent agent who was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995 (also admitted in British Columbia in 2022) and holds an LL.B. from Queen's University. He advises on patent strategy, licensing, and IP policy in electrical, software, and emerging technologies including AI and fintech, and serves as Vice President of AIPPI Canada.
