Matthew N. Craig is a partner in Stewart McKelvey's St. John's office, called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2013. His practice spans corporate, commercial and litigation matters for construction, energy and natural resources clients, with significant experience advising owners and bidders on public and private procurement, and he leads seminars on procurement best practices. He has nearly two years of experience as in-house counsel in the energy sector and has negotiated the resolution of a multi-million dollar dispute between an owner and a contractor, avoiding formal mediation or arbitration. Craig holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of New Brunswick (2012), along with a Bachelor in Education (2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2008), also from UNB.
