About Matthew

Matthew Jarrett joined the firm as an articling student in the summer of 2021 and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick after completing an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in criminology and political science at the University of Ottawa and a Master of Arts in political science at Carleton University. During his studies he served as a Parliamentary Committee Volunteer, volunteered with Democracy Watch, played rugby for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees, and worked as a consultation advisor with Parks Canada's Protected Areas Establishment Branch. He has since relocated to Caledonia with Marshall Law Group but continues to work closely with the firm as a remote associate lawyer, specializing in estates, estate litigation and civil litigation.
