About Marlisa

Marlisa H. Martin has been a member of the British Columbia Bar since 2011 and has represented clients at every level of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal and the Human Rights Tribunal. She is the owner and principal lawyer at Nanuq Law, where she focuses on making the legal process as stress-free as possible for her clients. Marlisa has served as President of the Victoria Bar Association (2019-2020) and as an elected representative for the Civil Litigation Section of the BC Bar Association, and she is Secretary Treasurer of the National Canadian Bar Association's Civil Litigation Section. She holds a law degree from the University of Victoria (2010) and a Bachelor of Science from Queen's University (2003).
