About Mark
Mark Polese practices as a lawyer at WEL Partners, focusing on in-court estate litigation matters and disputes. By 2022, Mark had completed his Juris Doctor at Queen's University; he then articled and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2023. Before joining WEL Partners, Mark worked as a criminal defence lawyer in Vancouver, appearing before the Court of Appeal for British Columbia and its Supreme Court in the process. Coming from a criminal law background, he was drawn to estate litigation because it deals with deeply human issues that resonate with everyone. Before his legal career, Mark completed a Bachelor of Music at Queen's University, studying classical guitar, jazz bass, and musical theatre.
