Mark Muir Rodenburg

About Mark

Mark Muir Rodenburg has been with SV Law since 1993 and served as the firm's managing partner during 2002-2004, 2009, and 2020-2025. He earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 1990 and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1993, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 1995, receiving the Pensa & Associates prize for top grades at the London bar admission course. His practice centers on estate litigation, along with corporate and commercial litigation and employment law, and he has argued matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice, Family Division, and the Tax Court of Canada. His notable cases include Ferrier v. Civiero, concerning partition and sale of jointly owned land, and Amherst Crane v. Perring, on the treatment of RRSP proceeds outside an estate. Mark is a past president of the Wellington Law Association and currently serves on the board of the Guelph Community Foundation.
