About Mark

Mark Halfyard is the senior appellate lawyer at Daniel Brown Law, with more than 20 years of appellate experience and over 400 arguments at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa's law school in 2004 and is certified as a specialist in criminal law by the Law Society of Ontario, a designation held by fewer than 100 lawyers in the province. He co-authored the book Criminal Appeals and is an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
