About Ema
Ema Ibrakovic's practice involves a mix of criminal trials and appeals at Daniel Brown Law. Before joining the firm she spent three years clerking at all levels of court in Ontario, starting at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, followed by the Court of Appeal for Ontario with Associate Chief Justice Fairburn and Justices Simmons and Trotter, and finishing at the Supreme Court of Canada with Justice Suzanne Cote. She completed her law degree at the University of Toronto, graduating as valedictorian, and won a mooting medal for her advocacy in the Gale Cup and Grand Moot. She later coached the University of Toronto's Gale Cup moot team to two consecutive championships. Before law school she completed an Honours B.A. in Ethics, Society and Law, Political Science, and Philosophy at the University of Toronto.
