About Mark

Mark Dunn is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Goodmans. He has acted as lead counsel in complex, often urgent, disputes at every level of court in Ontario, before the Supreme Court of Canada, and in arbitration. Real estate litigation makes up a significant share of his work, including joint venture, lease, mortgage enforcement, and trust disputes, along with construction disputes on behalf of owners and contractors. Mark also handles corporate and securities litigation, covering proxy contest disputes, misrepresentation class actions, Competition Act claims, shareholder disputes, and corporate oppression cases. He carries on an active insolvency and restructuring practice, acting for court-appointed officers, creditors, and other stakeholders, and appears regularly before Toronto's Commercial List. Mark also represents victims of civil fraud, working to investigate and prove fraud, freeze assets, and maximize recovery for those affected.
