About Maris

Maris Kask-Polacko serves as Director of Legal Research at M&H LLP, bringing together a career split between legal practice and academia. She spent the past sixteen years in London, UK, where she built and headed a new practice-based law school and conducted legal research on European Commission-funded projects while teaching legal skills to students. Throughout that time she kept up a solicitor practice in Estonia, advising on real estate management and landlord-tenant matters. Earlier in her career she served as Central Government In-House Legal Counsel in Estonia, gaining experience in legal drafting, legislative work, and litigation before administrative courts and tribunals. She holds a PhD from King's College London.
