About Marie
Marie (Mimi) Willcock is a civil litigator in general insurance defence, focusing on risk management advice, investigating and defending claims for health authorities, educational institutions, public institutions, and professionals, including medical malpractice, professional liability, personal injury, and human rights matters. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and several administrative tribunals. Willcock completed her B.A. at the University of Cambridge, her J.D. at the University of Toronto, and an LL.M. in Jurisprudence and Legal Theory at University College London, before joining Guild Yule LLP as an Articling Student in 2012 and being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2013. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation and by Benchmark Canada as a Litigation Star.
