About Marie-Eve
Marie-Eve Heming is a partner in Thorsteinssons' Toronto office, practising personal and corporate tax planning for private and public corporations, trusts, professionals and high-net-worth individuals. Her work centers on corporate reorganizations, structuring investments and businesses, estate planning, business successions, and cross-border tax issues tied to immigration and emigration. She also represents clients in audits and disputes with federal and provincial tax authorities. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2009 and joined the firm in 2011 after working in a national firm's Toronto tax group. Marie-Eve holds a B.C.L. from Universite Laval (2007) and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario (2008), and she clerked for Justice Lorne Giroux of the Quebec Court of Appeal. She is fluent in both French and English.
