About Dorothy

Dorothy Lim is legal counsel at Smetheram & Company, practising corporate-commercial law, including buying and selling businesses and shareholder matters, tax advice for corporate reorganizations, and wills and personal planning. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of British Columbia in 2002 and a Master of Arts in Economics from UBC in 2003, before completing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2008 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
