About Marc

Marc Gibson is a senior associate whose practice centers on Aboriginal law, an area taken up after years working on state accountability and criminal justice issues. Marc grew up in the bush in northwest Ontario and believes lawyers carry an obligation to fight for change, considering it a privilege to be welcomed into clients' homelands to help advance their strategic goals. Marc holds a JD and an MA from the University of Toronto and a BA from McGill University, and is admitted to the bars of Ontario, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon. Marc has been recognized by Canada's Best Lawyers and has published on police use of lethal force and on constitutional developments in criminal law.
