About Madeleine

Madeleine Loewenberg co-founded Loewenberg Psarris Workplace Law LLP and has practised exclusively in employment and labour law since 2002. Loewenberg drafts and advises on employment contracts, attendance management, and termination entitlements, and litigates matters under the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Employment Standards Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Loewenberg has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada, and conducts grievance arbitrations and wrongful dismissal litigation. Loewenberg also has a mediation and arbitration practice and regularly conducts workplace investigations for provincially and federally regulated employers. Loewenberg has been repeatedly recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for Labour and Employment Law and Workers' Compensation Law, and by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for Occupational Health and Safety Law.
