About Mackenzie
Mackenzie Faulkner is an associate building a broad litigation practice in commercial litigation, defamation and media law, employment law, and professional liability and regulation. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, plus various tribunals and arbitral panels. At the University of Toronto's law school, he won the Stephanie Fleur Couzin Medal for Mooting after winning the 2022 Hicks Morley Labour Moot and the 2023 Gale Cup Moot, and volunteered with the Advocates for Injured Workers Clinic and the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights. He also earned the Edward J. Kowal '65 Prize for top standing in commercial law courses and served as a senior Law Review editor. Mackenzie was called to the Ontario bar in 2024.
