About Lucas

Lucas Barbosa grew up in the Waterloo Region and completed undergraduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University before attending Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. While there, Lucas was chosen by the Dean to mentor fellow students and took on a variety of pro bono files. Lucas joined GGFI Law LLP after the first year of law school, stayed on for articling, and has practiced there since being called to the bar in 2022. The work centers on corporate and business law, real estate transactions, wills and estates, trusts, and charity law, covering everything from business sales to home purchases and powers of attorney. Outside of practice, Lucas teaches at the University of Waterloo and volunteers at church.
