About Louis-Philippe

Louis-Philippe Bourgeois is a lawyer and a certified human resources counsellor (CRIA) who practises mainly in labour law, administrative law, and municipal law. A member of the firm for more than thirty years, Bourgeois has developed particular expertise in labour law within the municipal and public sectors as well as in public law more broadly. Bourgeois has represented clients before administrative tribunals and courts with jurisdiction in Quebec in matters involving administrative law, municipal law, environmental law, and labour and employment law, and regularly acts as lead management spokesperson or expert advisor in collective agreement negotiations for the human resources departments of public, parapublic, and municipal organizations. Bourgeois also advises on ethics and professional conduct matters and appears on the roster of ethics and deontology advisors for municipal matters established by the Commission municipale du Québec. Bourgeois has been a speaker at municipal association events and a trainer in labour relations, municipal law, and administrative law. Bourgeois was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1980.
