About Étienne

Étienne Bisson-Michaud practises across all aspects of litigation, including providing strategic advice, drafting procedures, and representing clients before Quebec's trial and appellate courts, alongside a real estate practice. His litigation experience spans commercial and contractual disputes, construction law, shareholder disputes, product liability claims, and extraordinary remedies such as injunctions and pre-judgment seizures, and he has represented clients in complex commercial arbitrations. He regularly advises real estate developers, builders, and property managers on commercial leases and the establishment of hypothecary security. Étienne was a partner at Novalex and spent nine years at a Montreal real estate boutique before working at a firm in Quebec City and a regional construction law practice. He holds an LL.B. from the Université de Sherbrooke and was recognized as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation Canada in 2023 and 2025.
