About Lisa
Lisa Langevin is a partner in the firm's litigation group, defending bodily injury, property damage, and subrogated claims for Canadian and international insurers and provincial municipalities, along with commercial and banking litigation. A fluently bilingual litigator, she is often asked to act on files across eastern and northern Ontario. Since joining the firm as an articling student in 2002, she has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and various administrative tribunals, and she has mediated bodily injury, property, construction, employment, and estate matters since 2010. She served four years on the Board of Directors of USLAW Network Inc. and has taught Insurance Law at the University of Ottawa law school. Lisa co-chairs the Special Olympics Festival Breakfast fundraiser and chairs the Ottawa Gaels Gaelic Football and Camogie club. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa Law School and a B.A. from the University of Ottawa.
