Lillianne Cadieux-Shaw acts as both advisor and advocate for clients at PST, viewing the law as a means of resistance and repair suited to each client's needs. Advocacy for Indigenous rights and freedoms spans every level of court across Canada, drawing on cases involving constitutional change and the recognition of new torts, with particular focus on protecting Indigenous knowledge and preventing violence against Indigenous women. Lillianne holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA from the University of King's College at Dalhousie University, and is admitted to practise in Ontario and Yukon. Lillianne previously clerked for the Honourable Madam Justice Karakatsanis at the Supreme Court of Canada and has published on defamation law and privacy law.
