About Leonard

Leonard Bosschart's practice focuses on trusts and estates as well as charities and not-for-profit law. He advises entrepreneurs, private companies, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices on tax planning, cross-border estate and tax matters, succession planning, and wills and trusts, and he works with trustees on estate administration and with beneficiaries on passings of accounts. Many of his clients run family businesses, giving him insight into the needs of owner-entrepreneurs. Leonard also advises on setting up and running charities and not-for-profit corporations. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Ontario Bar Association's Estates and Trusts and Charities sections, and he speaks and writes regularly on estate planning topics. He earned his LLB from Dalhousie University in 1990 and his BA with honours from the University of Western Ontario in 1985, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1992.
