About Leonard
Leonard E. Krog was called to the BC Bar in 1980. He first attended Malaspina College and graduated from the University of Victoria in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, then completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia Law School in 1979, articling with the Nanaimo firm of Strongitharm Currie and Company. A strong believer in public service, he supports numerous local charities and public events, and has previously served as Chair of United Way, President of the Mid-Island Consumer Co-Op, and President of the Nanaimo Branch of Planned Parenthood. He has been Mayor of Nanaimo since 2018.
