Leigha Worth is the Executive Director and General Counsel of BCPIAC. She originally joined the organization in 2006 as a staff lawyer, was appointed Executive Director in 2011, left in 2013, and later returned to the role. Leigha has a broad legal background, having worked as a sole practitioner, contract lawyer, in-house counsel, and outside counsel, and was one of two founding partners of a Vancouver union-side labour, employment, elections law, and utility regulation firm. Her practice draws on experience across human rights, administrative, employment, utility regulation, criminal, prison, Aboriginal, and constitutional law, with a focus on using utility regulation law and social justice analysis to address systemic issues affecting people experiencing poverty.
