About Maya

Maya Ollek is a Senior Associate at JFK Law's Vancouver office, working in the firm's Nation Building and Dispute Resolution groups on complex negotiations, specific claims, and consultation and regulatory matters. She previously practised civil, public, and administrative law at a Vancouver litigation boutique and clerked for Justice Rosalie Abella at the Supreme Court of Canada. Before law school, Maya served as Canada's lead policy advisor on human rights and governance in Afghanistan at Global Affairs Canada. She holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto (2014) and an M.A. and B.A. in political science from McGill University, and was called to the bar in 2016.
