About Lei
Lei is one of two lawyers at Liu and Wu Law Office, a firm he runs in business partnership with his wife Hui, focusing on legal issues facing individuals and families. His main practice areas are residential real estate, family law, wills and estates, and civil dispute resolution. He immigrated to Canada from China around 2000 and originally trained in electrical engineering, earning a B.Eng from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1992 and an M.Eng from Zhejiang University in 1997, and worked for high-tech companies in Kanata before turning to law. He earned his J.D. from the University of Alberta in 2008 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2009, having previously articled and practiced with Ottawa general practitioner Paul J. Colin. He's a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
