Insurance LawLeandra Bouman is an associate in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, practising commercial litigation, administrative law, insurance law and health law. She was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 2024 after articling with Cox & Palmer and earning her law degree at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, having completed a Bachelor of Science at Université Laval beforehand. Leandra has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, Small Claims Court and the Residential Tenancies Board, and has assisted with matters before the Federal Court and various administrative tribunals. She's fully bilingual, having completed her studies in both French and English, and sits on the board of the Delmore 'Buddy' Daye Learning Institute.
