About Laurence

Laurence Massicotte was called to the Quebec Bar in 2014 and to the Law Society of Ontario in 2015. A founding shareholder of Bélanger Longtin, she is a bilingual litigator with experience before all Quebec courts, managing complex multi-party construction disputes and defending healthcare professionals and facilities in sensitive, often publicized litigation. Her practice covers insurance law, civil and commercial litigation, professional and civil liability, and construction law. Massicotte holds a Juris Doctor in North American Common Law and an LL.B., both from the Université de Montréal (2012, 2014), and took part in a student exchange at the Catholic University of Louvain and a certificate program at the China University of Political Science and Law. She was named to the Chambers Canada Guide 2026.
