About Catherine

Catherine Cloutier was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020 and to the Quebec Bar in 2021. Her practice covers civil and professional liability, construction law, insurance law and product liability. Before joining Bélanger Longtin she held roles as a student at CDPQ's legal affairs department and CDPQ Infra's REM project, worked in commercial property in England, clerked in commercial arbitration, and practised as an insurance-litigation lawyer at national firms. Cloutier holds a Juris Doctor in Common Law from the Université de Montréal, along with bachelor's degrees in nutrition and in law. She sits on the board of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec, on its governance, ethics and HR committee, and on the board of Fondation OLO, which supports healthy pregnancies and infant nutrition.
