About Laura

Laura Smith advises individuals and families through separation and divorce, with particular depth in high-conflict parenting disputes, spousal and child support, and division of family property. She is an experienced advocate before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, and is also certified in Collaborative Family Law, favouring negotiation, mediation, and collaborative processes where they can preserve dignity and reduce cost. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. She serves clients throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, and the surrounding area.
