About Lara

Lara Israel is an associate at Roper Greyell practising in all areas of workplace law. She joined the firm as a summer student and completed her articles there, assisting with collective bargaining, hearing preparation, and submissions for the BC Labour Relations Board. During law school she volunteered with the Law Students' Legal Advice program and interned for judges in the BC Provincial Court through UBC's judicial externship program, and received the Richard R. Sugden QC Prize in Trial Advocacy. She holds a BSc and a JD, both from UBC, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2024.
