Amanda Rogers is an arbitrator, mediator, and lawyer based in Vancouver who specializes in workplace dispute resolution, practising through a law corporation. Since becoming a neutral in 2019, she has been appointed to disputes in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, and under federal jurisdiction, publishing numerous arbitration decisions and settling many more through mediation. She sits on the BC collective agreement arbitration bureau's list of arbitrators, serves on the executive of the Arbitrators Association of BC, and until recently acted as an external adjudicator for the Canada Industrial Relations Board. Rogers has been appointed as a special mediator by the governments of Saskatchewan and BC, as a special officer in BC, as an Industrial Inquiry Commissioner studying forestry successorship rights, and as a member of a federal Commission of Inquiry into West Coast longshoring disputes. In 2020, the Government of Yukon appointed her as an independent reviewer of its handling of a public school incident, and her report and recommendations were fully accepted. She holds an honours B.A. (2003) and a Juris Doctor (2007) from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University (2021).
