About Lama

Lama is an associate in the firm's Construction Department, with a background in commercial arbitration, cross-border litigation and contentious matters spanning construction, contracts, commercial transactions, employment and corporate disputes. She has conducted arbitrations under ICC and other institutional rules and focuses particularly on construction-related disputes. Before joining Soloway Wright, she practised for several years as an associate with an international firm in Qatar, where she developed experience in Qatari law. Lama holds an LLB with honours from the University of Birmingham (2014) and a Legal Practice Course certificate from BPP University (2015). She was called to the Ontario bar in October 2024 and speaks Arabic and English.
