About Jason

Jason Shelly is a partner at SKS Law LLP focusing on corporate and commercial law, municipal and land use planning, and estate and succession planning, and he also assists clients with disputes. He advises on family foundations and succession structures, and has been appointed trustee in complex estate matters involving assets across the US, UK, Europe, and other Canadian provinces. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 and the New York Bar in 2003, and worked in investment banking in London on capital markets and M&A matters, including as counsel to the transaction committees of two global investment banks. Before that, he worked for Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Jason is fluently bilingual in English and French, with a working knowledge of Spanish.
