About Laila

Laila Parvez is a principal partner at Beard Winter LLP, called to the Ontario bar in 2003. Her work is centred on corporate governance, M&A transactions and corporate finance, and she acts as trusted counsel for small and medium-sized businesses across a range of industries. She regularly helps clients set up corporate structures, negotiate shareholder and partnership agreements, and carry out corporate restructurings. Laila also has considerable experience in commercial leasing matters, acting for landlords and tenants alike when negotiating and settling leases. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. (Hons.) from McMaster University, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association.
