About Kristin
Kristin Plester is a family lawyer at Demas Schaefer assisting clients with divorce, parenting, child and spousal support, and property division matters. A University of Alberta graduate, she began her career at a low-income legal clinic, gaining experience advocating for clients in family law disputes. She grew up on an Alberta farm, an upbringing she credits with instilling a strong work ethic and practical mindset. She has represented clients in both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench.
