About Emily
Emily Gore is a family lawyer at Demas Schaefer who has practiced almost entirely in family and divorce law since being called to the bar in March 2019. She attended law school at the University of Alberta, where she received the Leonard J. Pollock Q.C. Prize in Family Law for the highest mark in her family law class. She favours settling matters outside of court where possible but will advocate for clients in court when negotiation fails. She volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre as a pro bono family lawyer for three years and now volunteers with the Centre for Autism Services Alberta.
