About Kristen
Kristen Wittman has practiced at Taylor McCaffrey LLP since her call to the Manitoba Bar in 1996, after earning her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba. Her practice is corporate and commercial law, representing corporations, cooperatives and partnerships, including start-up structuring, by-laws, commercial contracts, financing and shareholder agreements, with particular experience assisting cooperatives and credit unions. Kristen sits on the Board of Directors of Red River Co-op and chairs the Canadian Cooperative Investment Fund, and is a past chairperson of the Manitoba Bar Association's Women Lawyers Forum. She has also published two books of poetry, 'Stone Boat' and 'Death Becomes Us'.
