About Kirsten
Kirsten Hanson is an associate at DBB Law who has practiced exclusively in family law since being called to the bar in July 2021, with a particular interest in child custody disputes. Born and raised in Calgary, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Calgary in 2016 before attending law school in the United Kingdom, working in family law along the way, and graduating with a Juris Doctor from the University of Surrey in 2019. Kirsten regularly appears before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench and has volunteered with Surrey Nightline student listening services, the Foothills Hospital, and Fernie Search and Rescue.
