About Houston

Houston Meding practises agricultural law, working on land transactions, surface rights, farm corporations, estate administration and wills, and helps farmers and ranchers make use of the rollover and capital gains exemption. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Calgary in 2014 and a law degree with honours from the University of Birmingham in the UK in 2019, followed by a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2020. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2021. He serves as treasurer of Alberta Young Speakers for Agriculture and co-chairs a subcommittee of the Calgary Stampede's Agriculture and Western Events Media Committee.
