About Kimberley
Kimberley Cook is a partner at Thorsteinssons LLP, working from the firm's Vancouver and Toronto offices, with a practice focused on tax litigation and taxpayer representation. Called to the bar in 1987, she has appeared often before the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada, various British Columbia courts, and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal on matters spanning income tax, provincial sales tax, GST and customs; she has also appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Her client roster has included Teck Metals, BC Ferries, TELUS, Labatt Brewing and Shaw Communications, among others. Kim holds an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and has completed programs at Case Western Reserve University's Canada-U.S. Law Institute and UC Berkeley's Executive Management Program. She belongs to the Law Society of British Columbia, several Canadian Bar Association sections, and the American Bar Association.
